Typical port-to-port transit once parts are produced and dispatched. These are guideline ranges — actual transit depends on carrier, port, season and Incoterm, and we confirm a schedule with every quote.

Transit time is separate from production lead time (tooling + forming), which we quote per part. Add both for door-to-door delivery.
How we ship & export
Export-grade packing
Parts are nested and stacked to maximise container fill, then packed in export cartons, crates or pallets rated for sea freight and long transit.
Documentation
Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, and material/quality documents (COA, MTC) prepared to your import requirements.
Ports & routing
We ship from Nhava Sheva (JNPT) and Mundra — among India's largest container ports — with our Umbergaon plant near Vapi for fast port access.
Your Incoterm
We quote EXW, FOB, CIF or DDP — whatever suits your buying and customs preference — so you know exactly what is and isn't included.
Shipping FAQ
How long does shipping take from India to the USA or Europe?
As an indicative guide, sea freight runs roughly 3.5–5 weeks to Europe and the US West Coast, and about 4.5–6 weeks to the US East Coast, port to port. Air freight delivers samples and urgent parts in 3–7 days. Actual transit depends on carrier, port, season and Incoterm — we confirm a schedule with every quote.
Do you handle export documentation and customs?
Yes. We prepare the commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and quality documents to your import requirements, and can ship on EXW, FOB, CIF or DDP terms. Our local entities in the USA and Europe help smooth import and give you a local point of contact.
Do you have a presence outside India?
Yes — Indu Thermoformers USA Inc. and Indu Thermoformers Europe (Netherlands and Germany) provide local sales and support for North American and European customers alongside our Indian manufacturing.
What is the minimum order for export?
It depends on the part size and container economics — large parts fill a container quickly, while small parts are usually batched to a sensible shipment quantity. Send your part and target volumes and we advise the most cost-effective shipping plan.
How are large thermoformed parts shipped economically?
Large covers and panels are designed and nested to stack and nest tightly, so a container carries the maximum number of parts. Where it helps, we optimise part geometry for nesting during the design stage.
