Skylights & roof domes

Thermoformed skylights & roof domes

Polycarbonate skylights and roof domes flood industrial and commercial buildings with daylight while shrugging off impact, hail and years of UV. Indu Thermoformers thermoforms the complete rooflight — skylight domes, barrel-vault rooflights, light-capture dome lenses, diffuser holders and base-plate curbs — in UV-stable polycarbonate, on the largest thermoforming bed in India.

Daylight that lasts decades

We thermoform UV-stable polycarbonate — the toughest glazing plastic — into single- and multi-wall skylight domes, barrel-vault rooflights and light-capture dome lenses that transmit daylight, cut lighting energy, and survive hail, foot traffic and years of sun without yellowing or cracking. ABS diffuser lens holders spread the light evenly into the space below.

The complete rooflight, formed large

A rooflight is more than the dome — it is the dome lens, the diffuser and the base-plate curb that seals it to the roof sheet. We form all of it, including base plates up to 3.3 m long on the largest thermoforming bed in India, so one supplier delivers the whole assembly, matched and ready to install.

Frequently asked questions

What material are thermoformed skylights made from?

Mostly UV-stable polycarbonate for impact and hail resistance, or acrylic (PMMA) where maximum optical clarity matters. Diffuser holders and some bases are formed in ABS.

How large a skylight or rooflight can you make?

Very large — we run the largest thermoforming bed in India and form base plates up to 3.3 m long, plus barrel vaults and domes most formers cannot make in one piece.

Are the skylights UV-stable and impact-resistant?

Yes — UV-stable polycarbonate resists yellowing and withstands hail and foot traffic, which is why it is the standard glazing for industrial and commercial rooflights.

Do you make the base plates and diffusers too?

Yes — we form the complete rooflight: dome lens, ABS diffuser lens holder and the base-plate curb that seals to the roof sheet, delivered as a matched assembly.
