Colour and gloss that survive the outdoors

Ordinary ABS yellows and chalks under UV within months. ASA holds its colour, gloss and mechanical strength through prolonged sun and weather exposure — our grade shifts less than ΔE 2 after 2000 hours of xenon testing. Because the colour is in the material, thermoformed ASA needs no protective paint, eliminating a whole finishing step and its failure modes.

The outdoor-exterior specialist

ASA forms like ABS, so it deep-draws cleanly into large panels and covers. It is the go-to for low-speed-EV and vehicle body panels, mirror housings, exterior trims, rooftop and marine parts, and outdoor signage where UV stability is non-negotiable. For very high gloss with scratch resistance, we also offer PMMA-capped constructions.
