For interior trim, load floors and large panels at the volumes most vehicle and off-highway programmes actually run, thermoforming beats both metal fabrication and injection moulding: lighter parts, tooling at 10–20% of injection cost, first articles in weeks, and styling changes absorbed on soft tooling between batches. That maths is even stronger for EVs, buses, tractors and specialty vehicles.

From cabin trim to EV exteriors

We form interior trim and door panels, dashboards and consoles, load floors and boot liners, wheel-arch liners and under-body shields, and — for electric vehicles — UV-stable ASA body panels and PC-FR battery components. Weatherable ASA handles exteriors without paint; FR grades cover electrical and battery zones; PPAP submissions and datum-referenced trimming meet automotive quality expectations.

Why thermoform automotive parts instead of injection moulding?

For low-to-medium volumes and large parts, thermoforming tooling costs a fraction of injection moulding and is ready in weeks. It suits interior trim, panels and EV bodywork where injection tooling would never pay back — and design changes are cheap on soft tools.

Can you support automotive PPAP?

Yes — we run PPAP submissions and datum-referenced, fully documented production for automotive Tier-1 and OEM programmes, with COA/MTC and FAIR.

Do you make EV-specific parts?

Yes — UV-stable ASA exterior panels formed without metal tooling, and PC-FR battery components (CCS trays, module covers) in halogen-free UL 94 V-0 polycarbonate.
