Indu Thermoformers manufactures thermoformed machine covers, equipment enclosures and plastic housings in Mumbai, India — a lighter, faster-tooled alternative to sheet metal and fibreglass. Vacuum formed and pressure formed in ABS, ABS-PMMA, flame-retardant PC and HIPS on the largest thermoforming bed in India, then 5-axis CNC-trimmed with datum-referenced cut-outs for sensors, displays and fasteners.

Common questions
Why thermoform a machine cover instead of fabricating it in metal?
A thermoformed cover is typically far lighter, never corrodes, integrates curves and branding that metal cannot, and arrives colour-finished with no painting step. Tooling costs a fraction of matched-metal dies and design changes take days, not weeks.
Can you form covers with sensor and display cut-outs?
Yes — apertures are 5-axis CNC-trimmed against part datums after forming, holding tight positional accuracy for sensors, cameras, displays and fasteners. AMR covers with datum-referenced sensor apertures are a core programme for us.
What size enclosure can you make in one piece?
We run the largest thermoforming bed in India, so oversized covers and panels that would otherwise be split, joined and finished can be formed as a single part — stronger, cleaner and cheaper to assemble.
